According to information provided by the bank’s management, the fire was quickly brought under control by fire service officials. The affected branch sustained property damage, but no lives were lost and all staff were safely evacuated from the premises. The bank did not specify the cause of the incident but stated that investigations are ongoing.

The incident comes amid heightened public concern over recent safety lapses in commercial establishments across Lagos State, especially within densely populated business districts like Victoria Island.
